Completed in May 1998, the 32-storey Shinagawa Inter-City is situated in the Minato-ku area of Tokyo. It is made up of several office towers with shopping facilities and a multi-purpose hall. About 50,000 bags of Monokote® fireproofing was applied on the structural steel of the four towers as well as in the underground structures of the multi-purpose hall. About 5,000 bags of Grace's Retro-Guard® was also spray applied on the PC exterior wall of two towers and underground floor slabs of all towers.
